Travis,

Hold your mouse over the URL button and you will see 2 options. Read fast as it goes away after a couple seconds. Just hold it over until you think you know what to do.

Here is the form (remove the spaces between the characters)
[ u r l = theURLlink ] Calendar Shot [ / u r l ]

Like so:
Calendar Shot

cool, eh?

Thanks for the info. I figured it would be best to post a link to the full size photos as well. ;)

I noticed a train stopped on the bridge heading towards Mechanicsburg today. I went to the storage shed area with the restored PRR Caboose and building and I got these great shots. It would have been better if the sun was out, but I found some decent camera settings.

I like the W I D E views. And as we see here, you don't have to have sunshine to get some great, moody shots.

You're lucky to have an RR melting pot so close to you. All we ever get is UP stock going by, or a once in a while stray, and I am usually without my camera when that happens.

Then, of course, there is the Amtrak, which I saw stealthily sneaking southward this morning at 2:15AM. They oughta put a bell on that thing so you know its coming - Oh yeah, right. They did!

Well...I've been away for a while and with all of that snow, it was difficult to get any good shots. Today I visited Harrisburg Station to take some better pics of the GG1. It was also nice that a "Toaster" arrived just in time for some pictures. :)

They have an excellent gift shop there and I bought a nice PRR Alco PA coffee mug. ( For my dad...they also had PRR Keystone, K4 and GG1 mugs...not to mention signs and excellent books!) I will be retuning! 8-)

...and then the GIANT shots! PNG image files at least 3.5 MB.

Ok...I saw this Conrail-BNSF as I was getting off of the highway and had to stop.
Then I drove past Enola and had another, "What the...?" moment. Congrats to RJ and his railroad. :)

It was a cool and rainy day, but I managed to get a shot of something that I've never seen before. A Dark blue HLCX? There are about 5 or 6 UP's with HLCX on them at the yard as well. I'm trying to get a BNSF that has the old silver and red Santa Fe colors on it, but it has been hidden amongst the black and white NS locos. ;) Edit: I got a nice sunny day shot yesterday...changed the picture.

I forgot to post these moving train pictures. :) 2 from Enola and 1 from Lemoyne heading over the bridge to Harrisburg.
Short clips (about 30 seconds). Not sure if there was a video thread here?

WOW :o

Now you're branching out and getting into film! Very nice clips... I wonder if we can get the MSTS engines to rock side to side-ways like the real ones?
