Welcome to the Columbus Locomotive Works Discussion and Support forum! The purpose of this forum is to provide a moderated discussion area for topics related to train simulation software and a support forum for CLW products. All users are requested to read and adhere to the following forum rules and etiquette:

  1. This forum is privately owned and administered by Cameron T. Lashley. The site owner reserves the right to grant and/or deny partial/full access to any user at any time for any reason.
  2. All forum participants must be registered users. If you do not have an account on this forum, you need to register for one before you can post new topics or reply to existing topics.
  3. All registered users must provide their full name in their account details. Users who fail to do so will have their accounts deactivated. Please take responsibility for your actions on this forum.
  4. All forum posts should be related specifically to prototype railroading, railroad simulations or CLW products. This is not a forum for a general discussion of topics outside of this scope. Posts that do not clearly relate to prototype railroading, railroad simulations or CLW products will be deleted.
  5. Users are prohibited from posting any information which:

    • infringes on the rights of any person or entity (this includes unauthorized use of copyrighted/trademarked material);
    • threatens, abuses, defames or attacks any person or entity (flaming/trolling will not be tolerated);
    • contains profanity, vulgarity, obscenities, pornographic material (this is a family-friend forum);
    • contains spam information or solicits money/information from users.
  6. Third-party providers of payware train simulation add-ons must obtain approval of the site owner before posting any information which advertises any product offered for sale. This rule is not intended to curtail information about these products; it is a requested courtesy to the site owner.
  7. Be respectful and polite to all members at all times.
  8. Stay on topic. If you want to talk about a new subject, start a new thread.
  9. Please use correct grammar and spelling in all postings. Posting in "ALL CAPS," use of excessive punctuation or deliberate use of poor grammar is not permitted.
  10. Please do not post public messages for the expressed purpose of contacting another member off-line (i.e. "paging John Smith" or "check your PM box"). Use PM or contact the member offline.
  11. Please do not "bump" threads.
  12. Keep the political discussion out the forum. If you want to talk about politics, there are plenty of other forums on the internet for that purpose.
  13. Remember that train simulations are enjoyed by a broad audience of people around the world. Please be senstive and mindful of the fact that members will have differing ages, cultural backgrounds, experiences and opinions.
  14. Please consider that this forum is an extension of my workshop for MSTS. All members are welcome here, but I consider them to be guests in my home. Let's keep it polite and considerate for everybody.
  15. Please participate and have a good time!

If you intend to post in the Screenshot forum, please be sure to read the guidelines for that forum.

If there are any questions or concerns, please contact the site owner. Enjoy your visit!
